In 2024, a group of volunteers, made up of community leaders and business owners, came together to bring back a Latino festival to Duplin County.

Thanks to these efforts, the Duplin County Latino Association was formed in 2025 to continue bringing the festival to the community and also offer other resources to the community in Duplin County. Our mission, as a nonprofit organization, is to celebrate and promote Latino culture through vibrant festivals and other events that showcase our rich traditions, art, and history. At the same time, we are committed to empowering the Latino community through educational support, offering scholarships and resources that foster academic success and personal growth. By providing valuable information and tools, we seek to strengthen and uplift the Latino community, fostering pride, unity, and progress for future generations.

The event is free and will consist of live music, dance performances, sports, educational booths, vendors, and activities for the whole family. Food vendors will also be onsite in order for attendees to enjoy delicious food.
